I think joining a gym is a very important step, probably next to getting a personal trainer. The monetary commitment--should hel motivate you and encourage you to progress. A good gym staff also encourages you to want to return--keep it up!

While I am not into fitness, I wanted to at least leave a comment so you'd know someone was reading. Very nice blog :) Don't get discouraged, just keep at it and the readers will come.

Holidays are a tricky thing in my family - my Mum has this subliminal drive to want to feed the family as much as possible, and unfortunately for my weight loss efforts, she's a damn good cook.

Am just gonna have to stay focussed and indulge strategically.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for Guilhermes post...

Clearly, the MH thing wasn't meant to be: that's all. The main thing is, you're making progress, right?

No reason for the holidays to kill that, Lee... although it's most peculiar, our emotional attachment to certain foods on a certain day. Coincidentally, I've got an up-coming guest post from Guilherme in which he argues for redefining our food traditions: stay tuned! :)
